These Terms and conditions govern the services provided by Happy Parties. Prior to booking any services with Happy Parties it is essential that you read and understand these. By booking our services we take this as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
In this document, ‘We’ refers to Happy Parties and its representatives. ‘You’ refers to visitor’s to our webpage and our customers Section Headers are for reference and guideline purposes, these do not limit the scope and extent of any individual section.
Bookings Terms: All bookings are confirmed once a deposit has been paid. All bookings must be made via the website www.happyparties.co.uk where a deposit will be taken . Following securing the booking you will receive written confirmation via email or text message. Please check all details are correct any amendments must be made via email.
Deposits are a non refundable payment which secures your date. All prices quoted reflect the details given at the time of booking – any changes to date, time or venue may incur extras fees.
Full payment of the balance will need to be paid a week before the appearance via bank or Paypal transfer.
Should you wish to pay cash, please contact us in advance to discuss. If agreed in advance this must be paid before we commence entertainment-. Please have payment ready for our arrival as delays in payment may affect start time which will affect your party duration. Cash can be given to our host on arrival during set up. All parties and events booked will be confirmed via email or text to ensure all details are correct. If we do not receive a response from you, we will assume all the details are correct.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure an adult is present during our performances/appearances.
Refunds: Deposits to secure a booking are non refundable.
If full payment is made prior to the event we require at least 48 hours notice to cancel. We will offer you an alternative date and time or 50% refund.
No refund will be given if the entertainer cannot continue entertainment due to unacceptable behaviour by customer or guests. This includes but is not limited to:
It is of the utmost importance that our staff are safe and are treated with respect. We reserve the right for our performers to leave a party/event should they feel that their safety is compromised in any way. Abuse to our staff will not be tolerated.
Happy Parties lookalike characters and impersonators based on Children's cartoons, fairy tales and stories. We are NOT associated or affiliated with any brands, theme parks, licensed characters or copyrighted character companies and do not claim to be. It is not our intention to violate copyright laws. we only take bookings on the basis that is understood.
We cannot guarantee that your event or party will be hosted by a particular entertainer however we do always guarantee a high quality performance.
On some occasions/bookings (normally over 30 minutes) our character performer will require a 5 minute break to hydrate to avoid overheating. This will be carried out in an area out of view of children. Staff health and safety is extremely important to us. This time will not be deducted from your party duration.
Consumables: If sweets are provided by our entertainers at an event or party, it is your responsibility as the customer/parent/guardian to inform us if you, your children, or party participants have any food allergies or dietary requirements. If you would prefer us not to bring sweets to your party for use as prizes, you must indicate this when booking. It is the customers responsibility to Supervise children consuming sweets – to avoid accidents.
Balloons/Balloon modelling: If Balloon models are provided at an event or party, it is your responsibility, as the customer/parent/guardian to inform us if you, your children or party participants are allergic to latex or any other material associated with balloons. We advise that small children should never be left unsupervised with balloon models. Popped balloons are a choking hazard.
Safety and Equipment: Happy Parties will always instruct responsible behaviour, and the safe use of equipment. However It is your responsibility, as the customer/parent/guardian to ensure that participants do not touch any of our sound, light or effects equipment. Electrical equipment can be dangerous and is not to be touched by children.
Occasionally our entertainers may use equipment such as glitter, sand, synthetic snow, bubble liquid, and glue. It is your responsibility as the customer/parent/guardian to ensure that party participants do not consume any of this materials/equipment. It is the customers responsibility to inform Happy Parties if they don’t want us to use glitter. Happy Parties do not accept any liability for any damages due to use of these.
Happy Parties do not accept responsibility for any injuries occurred when party participants or their families do not follow the safety instructions verbally given by our entertainers. This includes accidents caused by the misuse of any of our equipment. Including, but not exclusive to: the misuse of parachutes, balls and skipping ropes. Should our equipment including mascot costumes become damaged following unacceptable, destructive behaviour from any party participant, the customer may be required to cover the financial cost of repair or replacement. Please ensure children do not pull mascots tails/ horns / poke eyes etc as can damage the costume.
Please avoid face paints near our characters as some paints can transfer to the mascot clothing therefore includes damage fee for cleaning.
Events/Community Bookings: Rehearsal Fees: If you require our performers to attend rehearsals for your events, it is your responsibility to let us know this at the time of booking. The charge for our rehearsal time will be added to your invoice.
Your Personal Information: Happy Parties are committed to keeping your data secure. When you make your booking with us we will record your name, email address, phone number and address. Your information will be protected and shared only with the company directors and the performer(s) attending your party. If you are unhappy for any reason with the service required please contact us in writing. We will acknowledge any complaint and will respond within 24 hours.
